Leading a Pantry Project or other anti-poverty third sector organisation or community group is a key role in our local area and society. Your leadership helps to inspire people in your organisation and the wider sector in Scotland to show up as their best selves to contribute to social change.
However, managing a key organisation in the community can sometimes feel quite isolated and all-consuming. This programme offers important space and time for you to reflect and think. You will learn from and with other sector leaders to gain practical skills that you can apply in your role. Spread over five months, the programme offers a unique opportunity for the group supporting mechanisms for each other’s’ personal growth and development.
It consists of 10 facilitated learning days delivered in five modules, using a mix of approaches including group-work, peer-coaching, action learning sets, guest speakers and self-reflection.
Building Stronger Organisations
We are living in times of unprecedented change and uncertainty. Social need is increasing, costs are rising and finance is harder to find. More than ever, we need leaders with authenticity, wisdom, courage and compassion. This programme will support leaders from the Pantry network and other community organisations to respond to challenges and opportunities. This programme will help you, your organisation and the wider sector to find more sustainable and impactful ways of working.
You will work with and learn from fellow leaders to explore a range of practical concepts and approaches that support you as a strategic leader. The programme will give you the facilitated space to work on your own organisational ‘trickies’ and challenges, supported by your peers
At the heart of the programme will be finding ways to find new ways to finance your work, helping to secure the future of your organisation and the community it serves.
