Peer Learning Grantholder Support Programme
The National Lottery Community Fund gives grants to hundreds of organisations in Scotland. The Lottery is now extending the help it gives by inviting funded organisations to be part of a ‘Developing Sustainability’ programme, facilitated by us at Social Enterprise Academy. If your organisation has received Lottery funding, you are warmly invited to join us. Together people from 8 other Lottery funded organisations, we will help you develop your organisation so it is more sustainable in every sense. You can share experiences, develop new ideas and connect with people in the same position as you.
We understand times are tough. Costs are rising, funding is scarce, there’s a climate and nature crisis, and needs are greater than ever before. The programme will look at new ways to increase income, create more change in your community to enable your environmental and nature-based aims. Working with others in social enterprises, development trusts, community land trusts, charities, and place-based organisations, we will introduce you to design thinking, solution circles and action learning sets to help you work out a vision for the future and a new way forward.
The residential will give you lots of time to connect with people running similar organisations and projects. You will be working on your ideas and challenges during the programme. You will leave the residential with new ideas, new connections, and new energy to address the opportunities and the challenges you face. You will also be better able to support others in the community with their enterprise ideas. You will be better placed to access more income and funding from all sources.
Who is it for?
This suite of support is open to staff and board members of organisations funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Specifically, it is aimed at organisations that have an environmental purpose OR are running a project with environmental benefits.
We are inviting Registrations of Interest to various formats of learning - please complete the form below and select all that may be of interest.
