Previous 'Making Change Happen!' cohort in the Highlands & Islands
Making Change Happen; supporting and connecting aspiring leaders to tackle the climate emergency.
In this programme, you'll engage in discussions and practical exercises to help you become an effective leader in tackling the climate emergency. It is open to individuals from all sectors who are passionate about tackling the climate emergency through systems change and bringing change to their communities through climate action.
'Making Change Happen!' is a practical, reflective development journey designed to help you to understand your role as a leader in responding to the climate emergency. Through peer learning and practical planning, the programme will support you to build the confidence, skills and networks needed to lead meaningful climate action within your organisation and community. Across six days, you will explore your own leadership, emotional intelligence, motivation, coaching approaches, partnerships, resilience and systems change.
Action Learning Sets are built in to support change by giving you a structured space to bring real challenges, ask powerful questions and learn from the perspectives of others. Rather than offering quick advice, the set helps each person think more deeply about the systems, relationships and assumptions shaping their situation. This builds confidence, accountability and practical action enabling you to test ideas, reflect on progress and sustain meaningful climate leadership in your own context.
