Social Enterprise Schools and Facilitation Skills for Project Trust

Self enrolment

At the Social Enterprise Academy, we believe in the power of learning and development to transform people of all ages to become change-makers. In our collaborative programme with Project Trust, we will work with you to develop your skills to allow you to facilitate our Social Enterprise Schools programme in the schools in which you are based overseas.

Our pupil-led Schools programme supports young people to identify the environmental or social issue they want to solve and create a business to make that change happen. It has been shown to build individual confidence and wellbeing while developing essential skills in areas such as employability, global citizenship and leadership. By giving young people a real-life experience of running their own social enterprise, this programme delivers transformational learning which impacts them, their school and their community. You can find out more about all the countries we are currently delivering the programme here: Social Enterprise Schools across the globe.

You should expect a non-directive learning experience from your Social Enterprise Academy facilitators, meaning it will be a participative and interactive programme where you will be encouraged to share your own thoughts and experiences. We don’t ‘teach’ – instead we facilitate learning, collectively.
