EIS Engaging With Communities

Seminar direct enrolment

There is a growing awareness of the value of place-based approaches in learning and development. Place-based approaches recognise that each community is unique - having a distinct culture, economy, geography and range of stakeholders and opportunities. There is then no ‘one size fits all approach’, but rather a set of tools and skills that need to be adopted in schools are to engage as equal partners with ‘places’ and communities.

Alongside your peers, explore what meaningful community engagement looks like and develop the skills required for collaborating with place-based stakeholders whilst placing your school at the heart of your community.
