Getting into a Job that Makes a Difference
This programme will help people who are not in work move into a job ‘with a purpose’.
These are ‘impact jobs’ – jobs that make a real difference to people and communities. They are rewarding but also properly paid with exciting career prospects.
Wide Horizons is a flexible programme that challenges you to think differently about yourself. You will build confidence in working with others, visit different social enterprises and be supported by an experienced mentor.

- Share your dreams and what you are passionate about
- Discover your own strengths and skills
Visit local social enterprises (ethical businesses that exist to create positive social and/or environmental change)
- Find out how to get into jobs that create fairer communities
Get mentoring to help you find a rewarding new job
