Arctic Connections
This programme intends to bring together practitioners who are already established in community anchor organisations in geographically fragmented but culturally rich and diverse communities. Working to collaborate and identify best practice in this place-based approach; exploring the cultural entanglements in their respective communities.
Who is it for?
This programme is for learners who are members or employees of community anchor organisations and place based social enterprises in and around the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and Northern Canada.

- Understand the effect and importance of Culture on the people of your communities.
- Share challenges associated with managing cultural diversity.
- Hear inspiring stories of celebrating and nurturing culture and its strengths.
- Develop an understanding for culture and the role it plays in your area
- Connect with peers working in similarly place-based organisations.
