Exploring Climate Change & Sustainability
This programmes explores these themes, looking at what is already working, how to sustain this and identifying what needs to change and how to make this happen.
Who is it for?
This programme consists of two half days and is specifically for small businesses and social enterprises in the Western Isles to examine and develop their organisational and financial sustainability, whilst helping them to tackle the climate emergency at the same time. Participants will also be assisted with applying for funding from the Ideas Into Action Fund in order to put the suggestions that they generate through the programme into action.

Session 1 - Tuesday 1 October 2024, 9:30am - 12:15pm
Session 2 - Tuesday 8 October 2024, 9:30am - 12:15pm
Delivery Method: This programme will be delivered using Zoom. Each day of the programme will be a combination of live, facilitated sessions and some self-directed learning and reflection activities.In between modules, you are encouraged and supported to put your learning into practice.
Cost: Fully Funded by the Outer Hebrides Climate Hub (i.e. no cost to participating small businesses or social enterprises)

- Evaluate your assets and strengths
- Visioning for the future
- Embed resilience
- Experience Design Thinking and how this might be applied to building your sustainability whilst tackling the climate emergency
- Explore sustaining motivation
