Exploring My Leadership: Connecting and Collaborating
Take time to develop your understanding of what leadership is and explore the kind of leader you want to become. You’ll connect with others working in a Gaelic context. Hear examples and inspirational stories of relevant change makers. Establish a peer network of likeminded community leaders that share your values and vision.
This is a bespoke three-day leadership programme, designed to meet the needs of aspiring leaders in a Gaelic context. It will give those working in local, regional and national organisations the skills, networks, and support they need to accelerate their work and contribute to language and event planning in their communities and workplaces.
Who is it for?
With funding from Bòrd na Gàidhlig, this programme has been designed for Gaelic Development Officers across Scotland, regardless of whether they are in, or aspire to, a formal leadership position.
The programme is designed to allow participants to travel home each day. However, please let us know when registering if you are likely to require accommodation, especially if you are travelling a long distance to attend.
Funding is in place to deliver this programme in three locations, but we want to be as flexible as possible to give as many Gaelic Development Officers the opportunity to attend as possible. Therefore, we have given four options to give us an indication of where there is most demand for this programme. When registering, please let us know your preferred location and we’ll try to accommodate everyone’s needs.
