Rebuilding Income Streams
Generating income in a rapidly changing trading environment
Business plans are being redesigned to reflect both the current reality and what might be the ‘new normal’ beyond the present time.
‘Business as usual’ is unlikely to be a viable option. All organisations must review approaches to sales and income generation, whilst being aware that how we operate in the current time will impact on customers and stakeholders.
Who is it for?
In partnership with Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA), Historic Environment Scotland (HES) and Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS), this programme has been designed for leaders of cultural and heritage organisations based in Scotland, whose income is based on trading, donations, sponsorship or grants, and may be facing rapid change.
Cost
We are pleased to offer fully funded places to all eligible organisations operating in the third sector in Scotland, as a social enterprise, voluntary organisation or charity.
Public and private sector organisations can apply for a place at a cost of £200 per head. You must make this clear in your application.

It was very relatable to my work and was delivered in a way that inspired you and motivated you”
What will you get out of the programme?
By the end of the programme you will have had the opportunity to review your business model in the light of current circumstances, and explored a range of tools to enable you to identify new/alternative sources of income while maintaining social aims and impact. This will result in you being ready to start an action plan to take the necessary steps towards business survival and growth.
