local community Leaders from Dundee and find ways to adapt to the next normal
The last few months have been extremely challenging for many of our
communities and individuals across Dundee dealing with the impact of the
coronavirus pandemic. Maybe you have provided your usual services differently
or diverted from your core business to serve the community and respond to the
crisis. Now as we navigate this new phase, some of you may need to review what
you have been doing as you look to renew and re-build your usual services
and operations. This forum is an opportunity to connect with peers dealing with
similar issues to learn, share, collaborate and identify practical ways of
assessing what you need to stop doing, continue doing or (re) start doing.
Who is it for?
Any leader or manager in an organisation in Dundee that provides
facilities or services for the local community and has been active in response
to the Covid-19 pandemic and is trying to plan for the future. Priority will be given to organisations that have received funding
from Foundation Scotland in the last 12 months.
You will join a
group of peers through zoom for a series of four interactive webinars of 60
minutes facilitated by a SEA facilitator.
21 September (2-3:30pm)
|Common challenges and how you are navigating them
5 October (2-3:30pm)
|What you are learning and doing well in your organisations/sector
19 October (2-3:30pm)
|Finding innovative solutions together and collaborating
2 November (2-3:30pm)
|Recovery and re-imagining the future and what is possible
We will create a safe space for you
to share your own experience and hear from and learn with the others in your
group, so you can take away practical actions or solutions. The group will very much lead the discussion
with the support of the facilitator. The group will agree when to meet, how
often as well as the focus.
What will you get out of the programme?
a group of peers from organisations serving the Dundee community during
Covid-19 to collaborate and find solutions to build for the future
the changing environment and how you
need to adapt and change your response and service
collectively about how to reset and return your organisations
to operate in the ‘next normal’
- Use peer support to develop ways of
thinking, planning, acting and leading into the future
