VISION: Virtual Impact Storytelling In Our Network
VISION is an exciting programme that creates an inspiring and collaborative space for participants to meet other young people with shared environmental interests and develop ideas.
It explores storytelling, visioning and digital recording as a powerful means of communicating climate change.
The participants will be guided to stand as their future selves, create and tell the story of their unique vision for climate change, and then work with others to plan for its realisation and action.
Who is it for?
Young people aged 18-35 who are passionate about supporting the fight for climate justice and collaborating with peers in Scotland and Malaysia.
Programme Details
Programme themes:
- Sharing of methodologies – between Scotland and Malaysia in visioning, storytelling, and digital recording.
- Interdisciplinary – participants from creative and natural science backgrounds, coming together to share perspectives and ideas.
- Cultural dynamism – sharing perspectives on global environmental challenges, challenging our own cultural perspectives on life, living and planet.

Online platforms such as Microsoft Teams/Zoom
Dates:
- 29th of May
- 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th of June
- 3rd, 10th, 17th of July
Times:
All sessions 9am-11am UK / 4pm-6pm MYT
This project is an opportunity for young people from both Scotland and Malaysia to combine forces in the fight for climate justice. It will amplify ideas and projects of young people who are passionate about tackling the world's most pressing climate challenges."

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be resident in either Malaysia or Scotland
- You must be aged between 18 - 35
- You must be passionate about the environment, climate change and building a more sustainable world.
