Leading Change in Rural Communities
As the world and climate are changing around us, there are new and different opportunities in the sector that require us to be open to innovation, collaboration and prepared to learn and borrow ways of working from each other.
This programme will support third and public sector leaders to start thinking about how to develop behaviour changing projects - both internally and with their community.
This Active Travel focused programme aims to expand participants understanding of policy around transport and travel, behaviour change theory, and implementation strategies for rural communities.
Who is it for?
These sessions are for community leaders who want to think, both about solutions and how these might be implemented within their community. The sessions will be an interactive, peer-led learning experience that makes our programmes transformational.
Currently, day 1 will be held in the second week of December and day 2 will be held in the third week of January. Independent study is encouraged to take place between days 1 and 2. Those attending the programme will be grouped geographically into different cohorts, so once you have applied, you will receive confirmed dates for attendance.
